There was plenty to feast the eye on at the 2010 Emmys. I spent my mommy time tweeting for InifitiNews and following the fashions. Plenty of stars put on the glam, but we've got two missions here: report the trends and focus on moms. First the trends: White and ivory were splendid colors on the red carpet, dramatic draping was everywhere and ruffles seemed to be the embellishment of choice. Now on to the moms that rocked the red carpet.

Sofía Vergara from Modern Family was simply stunning in her Carolina Herrera gown. She got the hair, makeup and dress just right. This mom of one wins our best dressed award. And Carolina Herrera gets the award for top designer.

Mom Toni Collette is known for taking on meaty rolls. We love the botanical hem of her dress. Valentino really delivered a dramatic masterpiece. A big thumbs up. Can we borrow it? Please?

Padma Lakshmi (Top Chef) picked a glorious color for her dress (perfect for her skin and lighter than this photo reveals from Carolina Herrara), I would have liked to see some of her hair pulled back to focus on the tribal necklace.

Mariska Haritgay embodies old-school glamor. This dress hugs her curves to perfection. Well done Vera Wang, well done. Plus the up-do is stunning.

Susan Sarandon please take off the shades and show off you sumblime face. Well, we love the drape of the dress (thank you Donna Karan) and see that her daughter is taking after her well placed fashion footsteps.
