Making Metallics Work After the Holidays

I love love love love metallics. They definitely fall in the happy color category pour moi. You have happy colors right? Colors that make you smile the moment you put them on? Ok, you probably don't exactly think of metallics when I say the word color, but you get my drift. Anything that sparkles has always put a grin on my face, from the time I was a wee one. So, that's probably why I deck my daughter out in them too!

On that note, I love a nice red and gold pairing. Sure, it's a popular color combo during the holidays, but apart from wearing red and green together, there's no reason we have to put away those "holiday colors" just because it's January. I mean Valentine's Day is right around the corner right? Haha! I can tell you this...I plan on rockin' my metallics all year long and so does my magpie baby girl.

In fact, I put together a red and gold look that's perfect for any winter day. The Kardashian Kids sweat suit is adorable with her Umi Poppy B Mary Janes. It's the kind of outfit she can play in, yet still look ridiculously cute. And not only is the metallic material fabulous, but I'm obsessing over the gold buttons and zipper accents as well. And because I'm obviously obsessed with red and gold pairings, I had to add a large and in charge red hair bow to complete the look!
