Teaching kids about growing food is tricky in the city. Lays is bringing the farm to you. The Lay’s Mobile Farm is a free interactive farming experience open to the public to help education and excite families about farming and locally grown food. The "farm" is a huge 20 feet long by 8 feet wide full semi truck allowing families to interact with a “real life” farm in the middle of Times Square.

The event will feature a horticulturist and a farmer that will discuss the importance of farming in the United States and surprising farm and food facts. All visitors will also have a chance to visit the mobile farm’s interactive stations where they can plant seeds and water plants. Plus, you'll take home your very own basil plant to get your at-home garden growing.
