King Tut Exhibition in Times Square
Remember the first time Tut came to the US? The Egyptian king caused quite a stir. Well our mummified friend is back 30 years later. Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs is being hosted in the new Discovery Exhibition space and we got a peak.
The well-spaced exhibit is a delight. There's plenty of glimmering gold and talk of removing organs (little boys love that stuff). You'll be able to educate your kids about Egypt without ever a threat of boredom. You'll glide through the 10 galleries and 130 artifacts. Highlights include eying Tut's golden canopic coffinette and the crown and viewing the new scientific findings about King Tut.
