Spring fashion has my full attention. I am done with coats and boots--yet the weather simply isn't cooperating. So I am throwing caution to the wind and my coat in the closet and hoping to inspire you to do the same.
This outfit all started with the Fibi & clo.com sandals. My dear friend, Audrey McClelland turned me on to these. They are jeweled and fabulous. But wait for it...they are aslo so comfortable. You'll be seeing them all over the Mom 2.0 Conference. I plan to wear them like crazy once the snow melts here in the frozen tundra of NYC. I'm wearing the Gold Cascade ($49.50)
From there I had to put together an outfit. I immediately reached for this fabulous drawstring pants from LOFT. I found them last year--and the zipper detail seems more exciting than ever.
Then I needed something on top. Well, stripes just seemed like a perfect option. This orange-y top was scored from TJMaxxon a recent shopping haul. It's got a loose flowy vibe to it. With the slouchy pants--it just works. Final touch was a LOFT necklace. I got this at a press preview a few weeks ago. The ivory color is easy to pair with the pastels of the moment or always chic colors like navy and black.
This personal style post is a part of Monday Mingle. I team up with Jill from Glamamom and Kristin from BonBonRoseGirls (and the contributor to our great column Trendy Thursday). Each week we post about our style and then take turns hosting a linky and a giveaway. It's fabulous and fun and you should join in. Tell me what you've been wearing. It's a "I'll show you mine if you show me yours, kind of endeavor." This week Kristin is hosting. Head here.
