Friends of the High Line and Imagination Playground will host a creative art and play experience using the innovative and unique Imagination Playground in a Box, a free interactive project for kids where they can build their own pop-up playground using oversized foam blocks, mats, wagons, fabric, and more on Saturday, May 22.
A new play concept conceived and designed by architect David Rockwell, Imagination Playground in a Box is part of Friends of the High Lines spring and summer calendar of programs, which includes free and low-cost public events centered around art, nature, design, history, and kids. "Imagination Playground in a Box" is offered by Friends of the High Line in partnership with Rockwell and KaBOOM!
