Burt's Bees has a fun new product line that I think is perfect for tweens and teens. It's called Güd. The concept is to put the same awesome Burt's ingredients into the products but to inject a young, fun sensibility. It's effective enough for everyone. But with "flavors" including Cherrynova, Pearanormal Activity, Orange Petalooza, and Red Ruby Groovy we think this line skews young. It's all about fresh scents and natural ingredients and fun packaging. And guess who's the face of the brand? Carly Rae Jepsen is partnering with Güd to spread the word about the brand.
As a special treat the folks at güd brought together a group of bloggers for a shampoo and blowout at Brush NYC. As my hair was getting massaged and shampooed with the product I was enjoying the lively Red Ruby Groovy. It's scented with grapefruit with a touch of wild thyme. Total bliss. What they leave out: parabens, phthalates or petrochemicals. And they never ever test on animals.
