Great Bag Co. Summer Tote

perfect summer tote

This summer, I'm carrying the “it” bag for summer--the M model bag from The Great Bag Co. The bag was dreamed up by style-guru Robert Verdi. Verdi is often talking about runways and red carpets but he made this bag for real women—not those for whom getting a new Goyard every season is a reality.

Verdi launched the Great Bag Co. to bring style to everywoman, not just divas. I think he nailed it with this M Tote. The bag is incredibly practical for summer. It’s chic and almost indestructible, making it the ideal bag for travel. Stash your beach gear inside knowing that this can handle even a damp swimsuit. Or take it on your next trip to just about ANYWHERE. The tote can be dressed up or down.

The bag comes in candy-colored favorites plus the fashion staples (black naturally!). There are also metallic bags offered. I especially like the “24K” gold color

Win Your Own M Tote

Right now we’ve got an Instagram giveaway running! To win your own, head over to Instagram here and follow the instructions. It’s easy and you might just be lucky enough to get one sent to you.

The Model M. is a one-piece molded handbag fabricated from Fashion-Flex. They say it’s a proprietary plastic. It’s soft and pliable, but also keeps it shape. It’s got a matte finish (not too shiny) and fits nicely over the shoulder (the handles are 10”). There’s a simple tab closure to keep everything tucked inside (only downside…no pockets)

Dog in a bag

Oh, it also makes a nice tote for your dog. I tucked Mia (our new Momtrends mascot) into the bag to show you some scale.

I like that the bag has plenty of structure. When you set it down, it won’t become a puddle of stuff. It keeps its shape nicely and will stay upright. It would make a great on-the-go diaper bag too.
