You can't beat pre-washed salad lettuce for convenience. Fresh Express has perfected the art. The salads are thoroughly washed, rinsed, dried, and sealed in patented "Keep-Crisp'? breathable containers to keep their just-picked freshness without preservatives. With summer here, many of us want to skip turning on the hot oven and eat lighter fresher meals. That's where the beauty of the salad comes in. Add fruit, veggies, seafood or meat and a dressing and you've got dinner. No side dishes necessary.
Momtrends thinks the organic options are terrific, but if price is a concern--the traditional greens are also a wonderful way to green up the table. Need inspiration? Click on the Fresh Express Recipe page. I think the Raspberry Splash Dressing will go great with a spinach salad topped with, bacon, blue cheese and nuts.
