Fall's Hottest Lip Color: Bordeaux
I had my makeup done by my pro makeup artist friend the other day and she told me that I just had to pick up some new lip colors for fall, one of them being Bordeaux. While a bright lip is somewhat my signature, I wasn't so sure how I would feel about the deep, dark hue that she was trying to sell me on. It turns out, I LOVE it. A Bordeaux colored lip paired with neutral eyes makes for a killer statement. In fact, it could be your only statement. If you find yourself drawn to neutral, monochromatic outfits in the fall, a bold lip can make that look pop!

Now, before you run out and pick up your vampy new lip color, remember...not all Bordeaux hue lipsticks are equal. You can go the super saturated route or you can go the lighter wash of color route. Personally, I'm a huge fan of the Bobbi Brown Art Stick in Cerise. It's super easy to apply and you can even use these sticks as blush in a pinch.
