Dorel/AAA Car Seat Check Event

Image placeholder title

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, 75% of car seats on the road are incorrectly installed. A survey Dorel conducted with AAA also found that there is a serious knowledge gap when it comes to parents and car seats, as the majority did not know till what age children should ride in a car seat or the best place in the car to install it.

To educate parents about car seat safety, technology and installation, Dorel and AAA are hosting a series of seat check events nationwide, kicking off with the NYC event on July 16. Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician Kimberlee Mitchell, will be on hand to share her best car seat safety tips. It’s a great opportunity for parents to learn more about keeping their children safe in the backseat!
