Coloring Books for Tweens

Coloring Books for Tweens

The adult coloring trend is going strong. It seems like new books are popping up for all sorts of demographics, including tweens. I'm loving these new coloring books for tweens from Crayola called Art With Edge.

These are specifically designed for teens and tweens, and from a brand we all know and trust, Crayola. Why are they just for tweens? Well the topics from graffiti to zombies to sugar skulls and more.

These couldn't have come at a more perfect time. With Halloween right around the corner, I'm looking for non-candy treats to give the kiddos.

How do you get your kids to tap into their zen and focus? Maybe by doing some coloring. Get your kids off their iPads and re-introduce them to the art of coloring.

The line features seven unique coloring books and two coloring kits. I like to bring them on our trips and to sporting events. Time when I don't want them to zone out but I do want them to unwind. Something about the deep colors and coloring in (or out) of the lines, gets them to relax. The art features intricate designs, bold phrases and eye-catching content--it's also a great mother-daughter activity.

My daughter loves the Sugar Skulls. It's a mix of cute and ghoulish skulls. And I adore the Say What?! this one is a mix of inspirational sayings. This pack is great for a pep rally or sleepover.

For comic book fans check out the Justice League™ – Super heroes tackle action-packed adventures and Batman™ – The Dark Knight, his friends and enemies seek control of Gotham City.

The Art With Edge line can be purchased on Crayola.com for an estimated retail price of $6.99 for the coloring books and $14.99 for the coloring kits.
