We took a trip to the local pumpkin-patch this past weekend, and the littles had an absolute ball. Nothing like a bit of crisp air and some wide-open spaces to refresh the mind and revive the soul. The husband and I must've been feeling the festive spirit too; we told the kiddos they could pick the biggest, tallest, most orange gourds they could find. Go big or go home... Or, do both! Suffice to say, we now have two extremely large soon-to-be jack-o-lanterns sitting on our lawn.

I pursued the web to find a few fabulously cool crafts and gorgeously chic ways to display autumn pumpkins, and these 12 ideas are absolutely inspired. I might just have to go back to the patch and pick out a few more oversize beauties to craft with this season. Happy carving... or painting... or drilling!
