We love literary events--especially when they involve the classics. Mark your calendars for this one. New Yorker writer and editor Roger Angell will visit the 92nd Street Y Unterberg Poetry Center on Saturday, March 6 to read from Charlotte's Web -- by his late step-father and former New Yorker great, E.B. White -- as well as White's Stuart Little and The Trumpet of the Swan. This event is targeted toward 8-12-year-olds.
Angell has been a New Yorker fiction editor since 1956, and his lifetime passion for baseball has led to many critically-acclaimed essays (in the New Yorker and elsewhere), essay collections and books including The Summer Game andLate Innings.
