This week was full of events. A highlight was stopping by Tory Johnson's book party at C.Wonder in the Time Warner Center here in NYC. Tory's book, The Shift, is a best-seller. It's about her inspiring weight loss journey. In one year she lost 62 pounds. Amazing.
I caught up with the author in her VERY skinny jeans and her C.Wonder heart top as she signed books and chatted with fans. She's now lost a whopping 72 pounds (I think she's done) and is the poster-mom for healthy living. You can read more about her in my article for TEND.com Mom of Style here.
The setting was so fun for the event. The store is packed with colorful treats and treasures. Of course I couldn't resist a little shopping. I picked up a few things for upcoming fashion shoots (stay tuned!). And is started some mental lists for the holiday. I'm loving all the fantastic monogrammed home gifts.

Look who I ran into while shopping? None other than C.Wonder Founder Chris Burch. He was brimming with ideas and I hope we can team up with them for a Momtrends event soon.
In the meantime if you want to make your health a priority and need to lose weight get Tory's book now. I'm reading it and am quite inspired by her "shift" in positive thinking.
