Add Some Color to Your Maternity Wardrobe this Spring

As much as I cannot wait to meet my little girl in what could be any day now, I am really going to miss being pregnant, especially in the spring. With all of the color blocking and the bright colors that are out for spring, I know that the trends could look even better shown off with a beautiful baby bump.

With the mild winter that we've had, I can only hope that spring is on the horizon soon. Although I won't be pregnant this spring, I had the opportunity to try an amazing piece from the spring collection of Camilla Franks.

As seen on some of the top celebrities such as Oprah, Gwen Stefani, and Beyonce, Camilla's collection embodies colorful graphic prints and free flowing design that the designer is known for. The unique designs she creates stand behind her philosophy that "All women have the right to look and feel beautiful no matter their age, color, size or origin" is a testament to the brand's popularity.

Camilla didn't always plan on creating a bright and beautiful clothing line. It was early in her theatre career when she was designing her own costumes that she started getting compliments from onlookers. After much demand from women to create some of her flamboyant costumes, she decided to launch her own label.

Although none of Camilla's designs are maternity apparel, the free flowing designs are perfect for showing off your growing belly.

The Aztec pattern from her spring collection is bright, beautiful and full of so much detail.

The "V" pattern is the front of the dressed is adorned with beading that adds the perfect touch to this already beautiful design.

One of my favorite parts of the dress was the it was adjustable. The neckline of the back allows for you to tie it at whatever length you feel the most comfortable with. It is also great for adjustment as your belly gets bigger the farther along you get in your pregnancy.
