As part of a blogger outreach program with Momtrends I was asked to come up with a creative summer recipe using Twizzlers. Hershey sent me some Twizzlers PULL 'N' PEEL candy to test out. As soon as I saw them I knew I wanted to do something with fireworks. I came up with these fun firework popsicles that will be perfect at your Memorial Day or 4th of July BBQ.
Twizzlers Firework Popsicles
When it comes to summer, I think of patriotic holidays. Starting with Memorial Day and of course all the fun of Independence Day celebrations. These popsicles are so easy and fun to make and this Twizzlers PULL 'N' PEEL candy is a perfect addition for your patriotic celebration. Let's make this a fun and fruity #HersheysSummer!
Twizzlers Firework Popsicles Directions
As long as you have a popsicle mold, these firework popsicles are easy to make. Let's get started.
- First, cut your Twizzlers PULL 'N' PEEL candy into pieces that are about 1.5 to 2 inches long.
- Separate your Twizzlers PULL 'N' PEEL candy apart on both sides, leaving it connected in the middle. Fan out each color, this is your firework!
- Squish it open so that you have a firework design on both sides and slide it into the popsicle mold so that it lays flat against the sides of the mold in a pretty star pattern.
- Once you are happy with your placement of the Twizzlers PULL 'N' PEEL fireworks, fill the popsicle molds with your favorite clear soda, lemonade or clear drink mix.
These Twizzlers PULL 'N' PEEL Fireworks Popsicles are all American and very summery. What says summer more than a cool refreshing popsicle!? They are sure to be a kid pleaser!
Twizzlers PULL 'N' PEEL candy are perfect for these popsicles but they are just as yummy on their own too. They are raspberry, wild berry and lemonade flavors all rolled into one delicious candy. They are almost as fun to eat alone as they are in these fireworks popsicles.
