Graham-Cracker Dessert Recipes You Need to Try
My sister makes a mean key lime pie with a graham cracker crust. It's one of my favorite summer desserts because of the sweet, tart, tangy and refreshing filling. But the truth is: it'd be nothing without that amazing buttery bottom layer. Rather than buying a store-bought pie shell, she makes it herself, simply by finely crushing graham crackers and combining with hot, melting butter. Once hardened, I could eat that glazed cookie like candy--no filling necessary.
Yes, butter does make everything better, but graham crackers are still pretty nifty on their own. They are a vehicle for many delicious desserts--including the beloved s'more. (If you haven't yet checked out our camping birthday party theme, head on over HERE.)
