I'm all about convenience at dinnertime. Yes, I want my family's meals to be hearty, healthy, and delicious, but most of all, I need them to be easy and quick. That's why I love the crockpot, the slow-cooker, and the InstaPot--dump all the ingredients in; set it and forget it.
But there's another even simpler method for cooking a full meal that oft goes forgotten, and it can result in a yummy fulfilling meal that's, best of all, totally mess-free: cooking in foil packets!
Everything gets prepped, seasoned, and cooked in a little aluminum foil nest, resulting in fewer dirtied dishes, boards, pots, and pans. (Because if there's anything I like more than an easy meal, it's a sink-free of stuff!)
Whether you're making your foil-packet meals in the oven, stovetop, or on the grill, you can streamline and simplify your preparations and cut your cooking time in half.
