Summertime means meals on the grill. Burgers, hot dogs, steaks, chicken, fish, veggies.... and all the fixings. I am a big fan of a good barbecue dinner--prepping, cooking, and eating outside. Alfresco entertaining is a seasonal joy, and I truly love sharing food, breaking bread, and saying cheers as the sun sets each night.

Let's Take Dessert Outside

Even when it's just my family, we try to make the most of barbecue season. And whether we're cooking just for us or a backyard full of neighbors, dessert is always on the menu. Ice cream and popsicles are a mainstay of our post-dinner diet, but I also love mixing it up with other delicious sweet treats. One of my favorite things to do is to grill fruit--watermelon, nectarines, you name it!

I'm upping the ante with a few of these from-the-grill dessert recipes. They're warm and easy, and totally satisfying.
