Spring has arrived! At least officially.
Those of us on the east coast welcomed the new season with a major blast of snow and wind and ice. You know what they say about March: in like a lion, out like a, um, blizzard?!
Hopefully this was the last snow storm of the, er, "sprinter." I'm ready to swap out my heavy winter coats for trenches and, heck, even rain ponchos! And I'm eager to lighten up our meals and trade those hearty, heavy comfort foods for lighter meals and brighter flavor profiles.
Pasta is a weekly staple in our household. But now that spring has sprung (ha!), we're going to try a few new dishes. Out with the creamy meat-heavy sauces, in with olive oil and lemon and veggies. Check out these seven spring-ready recipes!
