Invest in sleep
So many of us have trouble falling asleep, staying asleep through the night or even more serious issues like lower back pain upon getting out of bed. And the problem might be more could have something to do with the wrong mattress and pillows. Take an inventory of bedding – mattresses, pillows and sheets. The start of a new year is the perfect time to refresh these items which can drastically improve sleep quality. Plus, older bedding is more likely it is to be made with substandard materials like toxic flame retardants, phthalates, or heavy metals. There is no time like the present to get yourself a new bed or accessories, and invest in your sleep and well-being.
Take the momentum of the new year and use it to start a new, healthy habit (or replace an unhealthy one). It’s easier once it becomes a habit and helpful for staying refreshed and productive.
