The Best Advent Calendars for Ski Moms
The holidays will be here before you know it. I'm just starting to sort and arrange gifts for our gift guides. One of the very first things we put together is our list of favorite Advent calendars. This year, there is a banner crop os ski-themed advent calendars for our snow-loving families. I love the tradition of Advent calendars. They help you enjoy each day and offer a fun way to SLOW down the race to Christmas.
I know your kids are going to relish opening each daily flap or box or drawer and finding a sweet surprise. Some of these are crafty and others require you to fill them with goodies and trinkets and gifties and knickknacks and all sorts of $1 section finds from Target (can I get an Amen?!) Speaking of my favorite affordable shopping section, I also listed a few Etsy finds. When I can support small makers, I give them love. I think you'll find there is something for every budget on this list.
Fun Fact: The tradition of the advent calendar dates back to 1851 in the Protestant parts of Germany. The first Advent calendar with little doors was printed in the early 1900's and continues today.
