St. Patrick's Day Free Printable Luck of the Irish
We're passing on a little piece of that magic to you. This month's printable is meant to fold over a ziplock bag and be used for holding treats for friends.
One of my favorite memories is volunteering in a kindergarten classroom on St. Patricks Day. The kids went out for recess and the teachers made the classrooms look like a sneaky leprechaun had come in and been naughty. They moved desks, put papers on the floor, and left gold coins all around the room for the kids as treats. It was magical!
Celebrating St. Patrick's Day
It's hard to imagine how all the fun and frivolity came from a serious remembrance of an Irish saint. Fun Fact: St. Patrick's day parades started in North America in the 18th century. The booze-fueled parades of today have drifted far away from the original intent of the holiday.
While we don't want to rain on anyone's parade, (and who am I to turn down a boozy matcha shake!), we are here to put the childlike fun back into this day.
