Rainbow Brights Kids Clothing Trend
How do you feel about rainbow brights? You know those, fun cheerful kinda colors that just scream summer? This mama is ALL in with rainbow brights, especially when we're talking about kids' clothing. Bright colors seem to always make my kids happy and everything's better when they're smiling. I mean have you noticed that the stores are bringing out like pumpkin EVERYTHING already? Well, this girl is hanging on to summer and the trends that go along with it a little bit longer. It's still August and fall doesn't officially launch until next month. And, frankly, even when fall is here, I'll probably be sipping on my pumpkin spice latte while rockin' bright colors. Bwah! So, I thought it would be fun to share some of the rainbow brights pieces that I picked up for my little ones this summer. And the best part is, most of them can work with layers once the temps cool down!
Rainbow Brights for Kids
First up, we have a tie dye print romper from Appaman. In our neck o' the woods it stays warm until at least October, so this little number will get plenty of wear. My baby girl loves a romper or jumpsuit as much as her mama does. And the bright, punchy pink and orange hues were a big hit with her too. There can never be too much pink in an outfit according to my daughter. So, we, of course, had to style her super comfy, cotton Paros romper (did I mention it's on SALE) with a pair of pink Sea Star Beachcomber espadrilles. If you're in the south like us, you probably live by your pool too. Sea Star shoes are perfect for taking from the pool to the street thanks to the water-friendly neoprene upper and rubber deck shoe sole!
Also, Appaman is my son's super cool tee here. He loves rockin' bright colors as much as his sister and as soon as this Lowrider tee arrived at our house he wanted to put it on. Because even more important than color is feel for him. And this tee is made from 100% cotton...And super soft cotton at that. I can see it being the basis of many an outfit this season. It would be perfect layered under a plaid shirt or cardigan! Just like you can never have too much pink in my daughter's wardrobe, you can never have too many t-shirts in my sons. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only mama whose kids have similar demands. Bwah!
Finally, in our color explosion sesh, we have an almost neon Ice Cream Castles mermaid print dress. It doesn't get much better than neon! Unless you add MERMAIDS to the equation. That's right I said mermaids. As much as my kiddo loves pink, she loves mermaids even more, so this is a dream dress for her! We styled it with a gold barrette and jelly sandals, but it would look just as cute with a cardi and high tops this fall. Have you noticed I'm all about the layers. Layering allows you to stretch out your kiddos' summer wardrobes, which is particularly great because so many spring and summer lines are on sale right now. I know you love a good sale as much as I do!
