This weekend Momtrends kicked off the holiday season by taking in a performance of Rockettes. Held at the iconic Radio City Music Hall, I was thrilled to take my children to this magical holiday show that is renowned for its incredible dance numbers, music and awe-inspiring scenes that has become a holiday tradition since the show debuted in 1933.
We kicked-off the day with a very special meet-and-greet with the famed Rockettes where we posed for pictures and enjoyed in a tour at the famed Roxy Suite. Featuring Art Deco elements, the room has been the place where many celebrities and VIP attendees go before they perform. After the tour, we excitedly got to our seats and soaked in the magic of the afternoon performance.
A show seen by over 75 million people (and growing), this year's performance was filled with memorable acts that included watching the iconic Rockettes and a lively Santa Claus. During the performance I loved looking at my girls as they looked at the stage wide-eyed and excited at the magic of the show that was flashing before their eyes.
This included beautiful sets and awe-inspiring performances such as the classic Nutrcracker scene and the fun Parade of the Wooden Soldiers. We also loved the 3D element where we were able to watch as Santa Clause flew through NYC and landed right at Radio City Music Hall. Other favorites are the New York at Christmas and Here Comes Santa Claus where the girls were in awe of all of the Santa's that were dancing and singing on the stage.
With 14 scenes, the magic of Christmas was beautifully captured through the show where we were all excited for the next song and dance number. Perfect for people of all ages, we loved soaking in the magic of Christmas that was wonderfully captured through the splendor and magic of the iconic Radio City Christmas Spectacular.
