Getting the Facts About DHA and Baby Formula
Last month, I hit the streets of NYC to learn about DHA. Enfamil hosted a pop-up event for parents in NYC to raise awareness of the importance of DHA amounts.
At the event, New Yorkers got the facts about DHA and were able to trade in Similac Infant Formula and receive free Enfamil NeuroPro Infant Formula! In addition, parents were invited to sign a petition to challenge Similac to raise their DHA to an amount experts recommend.*
*World Health Organization recommended amount of DHA is 0.2% - 0.36% of total fatty acids. Similac = 0.15% Vs Enfamil = 0.32% of total fatty acids.
Learning About DHA in Baby Formula
At the event, I got to meet up with Christina J. Valentine, M.D., a physician and dietitian dedicated to maternal and infant diet and health and Medical Director at RB Health. Dr. Valentine filled me in on the importance of DHA.

And you can make your opinion count by signing a petition to challenge Similac to raise their DHA amounts to an amount global experts recommend.
Enfamil includes DHA in the amount global experts recommend, but every year, the 1.9 million babies drinking Similac get less than half the DHA amount Enfamil provides.
I'm standing with Enfamil! I believe all babies deserve more DHA and should get DHA in an amount global experts recommend.*
