NYC Fashion Week is a celebrated time here at Momtrends. The glitz, the glamour, and the gorgeous pieces. We love it all! But you know what? Another beloved time on this site is NY Kids Fashion Week. That's right! We're gung-ho for all things kids fashion. After all a trendy mom has got to have a hip kid by her side. That's why we went to the Baby CZ by Carolina Zapf show.
Since we never like to miss a good party, a couple weeks ago Momtrends headed to Industria Studio in Greenwich Village, NYC to check out the Baby CZ Fall 2012 line at NY Kids Fashion Week. Sponsored by Petite Parade and Vogue Bambini, the event featured several arts and crafts stations for children, a play area, and a runway show with incredibly cute children wearing incredibly cute outfits.
Baby CZ carries quality children's clothing in rich, cozy materials such as cashmere, linen, and cotton. The pieces are designed with the philosophy that children should look their age and enjoy the clothes that they are wearing. Each outfit achieves this while enhancing a child's beauty and spirit. Today, the Baby CZ collection is carried by high-end department stores like Barney's, Bergdorf Goodman, and Saks Fifth Avenue. Also, you can visit two Baby CZ boutiques -- Baby CZ Madison Avenue and Baby CZ Greenwich, CT.
This fall, Baby CZ has got some really great looks in store for our children. Dressing the little ones up for that special occasion will be quick, easy, and fashionable. Little girls will be completely adorable in pale pink dresses, silk taffeta, cashmere, and ruffles. Little boys will be hip in corduroy jeans, tweed coats, and multi-striped sweater vests.
For girls, strawberry, silver, good, and creme will be the color of the season. For boys, it's navy blue, charcoal, and teal. From the looks of the runway show, nautical stripes are here to stay and will be featured on so many pieces. Sweet!
Thanks so much to Baby CZ and Petite Parade NY Kids Fashion Week for hosting such a great show! Visit the Baby CZ website to learn more about their children's pieces.
