If I had to pick one warm weather color to turn to again and again, it would have probably have to be coral. Not only does it look great against a slew of skin tones, but it can be paired with SO many other colors making it almost a neutral in this girl's wardrobe. Haha! And I think my baby girl just so happens to agree with me. She is definitely giving me her input these days when it comes to her apparel and a few of her recent approved looks all had various forms of coral in them.
So, let's talk about how to wear coral this summer...Whether we're thinking about casual outfits or dressier ensembles, you can't go wrong adding coral to your kiddo's wardrobe this season. In fact, I've recently found several coral pieces that have fit in seamlessly with her summer style. I know it's not officially summer yet, but thanks to the hot temps in our neck o' the woods, it feeeeels like summer!
Let's start with our casual inspiration...Ellen Degeneres and GapKids collaborated to create a collection centered around girl empowerment. We definitely promote the girl power message in our house, so I was thrilled to dress my daughter in this darling neon coral Love tee and ED print leggings. And to complete the funky multi-colored vibe, she sported her new Stride Rite Made2Play Phibian sneaker-sandals. They're summer-ready thanks to their breathable, machine washable make up!
Also along that same casual vein, we have a cute coral mixed prints look from Burt's Bees Baby. The striped hooded tunic and floral leggings make for such a sweet combo and they go perfectly with her Umi Celia sandals which have been getting a LOT of play by the way. Metallic sandals are a must have in any girl's summer wardrobe!
And, finally, we got a little more dressed up with a Rockin' baby Esme Bunting Print Circle Dress. It was just what my little lady needed for picture day with school. The coral pom pom trim was the big seller for her! Haha. The finishing touches were her Umi Cady sandals and a sweet little June & January bow. If your daughter loves to twirl as much as mine does, this is the dress for her!
So, that's our take on how to wear coral this summer...The only question is, how will you and your mini me be wearing it?
