Summer Sibling Style

Some people stick to holidays when it comes to dressing their children in coordinating outfits...Not this girl! I love shopping for matching looks all year long! I'm not talking about head to toe matching ensembles, but simply outfits that "go" together. I have a boy and a girl, so they aren't rockin' the same dresses like my sister and I did, but there are plenty of ways to put together coordinating sibling looks that aren't too matchy matchy.

I'm a big fan of mixing coordinating prints and colors, for instance. They make for such better photo opps. Haha! Not that I stage photos 24/7, but in this Instagram dominated world of ours, I do love putting up pretty photos and said photos are even prettier when my cherubs are dressed in coordinating outfits. Don't get me wrong...I'm all about a good unfiltered messy kid moment, because let's face it, who lives a perfectly coordinated life? I know my family certainly doesn't...It's all about balance! Am I right?

If you're going for a comfy, neutral kind of look, Burt's Bees Baby is where it's at. My little guy and his brand new cousin are too cute in their matching loungewear! I can't get over the matching v-neck tees and drawstrings shorts. And don't be deceived by the Burt's Bees Baby name. This organic line outfits big kids too! And if bright prints and colors are more your thing, Appaman has lots to offer. My baby girl's cobalt stripes and her big bro's uber bright tee look just fabulous together! Actually, if the way they were racing around in between takes was an indication, these pieces are pretty darn comfortable too. You can't go wrong with fun pieces that kids can really move in!
