Skull Inspired Kids' Fashions

With Halloween on its way, I thought it would be fun to round up some kids' fashions and accessories that would work both for the spooky season that we're enjoying currently and long past it. Today's topic of choice? Skulls! Of course skulls and skeletons are appropriate for Halloween, but over the years they've taken on an urban cool vibe that works well beyond Halloween. So, I've rounded up some fun, skull bedecked finds will look great on your kiddos all fall and winter long!

1. Hair Accessories: Increase your daughter's hairstyle's cool factor with sweet, yet spunky skull jaw clips and skull candy clips from Adelaide New York. I'm just waiting for my lil' lady to finally GET hair so I can use cute accessories like this. The Skull Candy is calling my name. Haha!

2. Scarves: Scarf weather will be here before we know it, if hasn't arrived in your neck of the woods already, and I'm loving the idea of styling my little one in cool printed scarves like the skull bib from Nununu. These bibs are not only perfect for keeping your kiddos warm, but they're fantastic drool catchers as well for those teething bambinos of yours.

Caring for Kid's Glasses Tune-Up Tips and Tricks

Wearing glasses makes life just a little more complicated and inconvenient for young children.  My daughter has been wearing glasses since she was two (amblyopia and strabismus) and I feel like I've spent a gajillion dollars on frames and lenses. I've learned a lot along the way more

3. Fashions: Layering a skull pullover or knit sweater over a longer tee with a bright pop of color would look fabulous on your girls and your fellas would look equally as awesome in this little number when rockin' it with edgy black or distressed jeans for instance. I love unisex pieces. Don't you? But then again, I'm a sucker for pink too and a baby girl would be just darling in a neon pink skull emblazoned onesie!

So, who else is ready to add some skulls to your kids' wardrobe this fall and winter? I bet they'll be begging to rock your skull scores! Anything to help make getting ready for school in the morning easier, right?
