Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt: Store Opening

Momtrends headed up to the Upper East Side last week for the Grand Opening of the Orange Leaf, a frozen yogurt shop. This is Orange Leaf's second location in New York City, the first in Murray Hill. I waited for my son to get out of school and we headed uptown to see the new store. In our house, I rather give my kids the frozen yogurt option over ice cream because its much healthier. Plus they enjoy it!

The new store was creating quite the buzz with a line almost around the corner to get in. I loved the decor of the vibrant green and orange color tones within the store. There were so many flavors to chose from, we couldn't decide on one, so we sampled a few like red velvet, raspberry, brownie mix, pomegranate, and wedding cake. All of them were delicious with brownie mix being my favorite and raspberry my sons. . And lets not forget the wide variety of toppings which included everything from gummy bears, chocolate chips, sprinkles, nuts and fresh fruit. My son loved that he was able to help and serve himself with a little guidance from me of course.

Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt is an Oklahoma-based, self-serve, choose your own toppings frozen dessert chain. After you make your one-of-a-kind dessert, simply put it on the scale and pay by the ounce.

With 213 stores now open, and approximately 107 stores coming soon, Orange Leaf is poised to become one of the largest franchises in the self-serve frozen yogurt industry.

Orange Leaf's mission states "To promote a community and family by providing a great taste, sensible, frozen dessert made just for you, by you, in an environment that is as visually uplifting as it is welcoming." And they've done just that, as we cannot wait to go back and try out more flavors!
