Did you know that October is 'Eat Better, Eat Together Month'? This month is dedicated to encouraging parents and children to eat meals together. In fact, children who have family meals on a regular basis have “fewer emotional and behavioral problems, greater emotional well-being, more trusting and helpful behaviors towards others and a higher life satisfaction, regardless of gender, age or family economics,” according to this year’s report from the Journal of Adolescent Health.
However, today's mom might be traveling for business, dads might be working late in the office, or kids might have late classes where they can't always be together at dinnertime. To help bring families Skype shared some tips with us on how to bring families closer during mealtime:
