National Girl Scout Cookie Day in NYC

Author:
Nanoblock Frog

Every year, millions of Americans support the nation’s largest girl-led business with a box of their favorite Girl Scout Cookies. This year they are not only are we supporting fundraising goals for local camps and troop outings, they're contributing to the $790-million cookie program that teaches girls goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills, and business ethics—skills essential to leadership, to success, and to life.

February 8th will commemorate girl leadership of one of the nation’s most prized youth-based programs that has provided these leadership skills to more than 59 million women nationwide. This includes a partnership with Sweetery NYC Food Truck, Zagat’s #1 rated New York City food truck and mobile bakery, where you can enjoy a sampling of some of the Girl Scout Cookies (we love the samoas), have the chance to meet CEO Anna Maria Chavez, and enjoy photo opportunities with local New York Girl Scout council members, among other activities.
