We just finished our annual science fair project, and it's right around this time that I go into full panic mode wondering if I am enriching my children's learning as much as I could be. As a teacher, I know the value of creating memorable, fun learning experiences and the positive impact they have on the minds of children.
We have all heard of the importance of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) based learning and we have discovered Lenovo Game State coding game for kids and we think it brings coding and STEAM learning to a whole new level.
Gaming is was not my thing. I am not really big on screen time for my kiddos either, but after attending a coding class with my children I am convinced of the value online coding brings to the table. The problem-solving, manipulation, calculation, strategy and command following needed to navigate Lenovo Game State are essential to higher order thinking and offers a lot of STEAM educational play value. Although my son is nearly 9 and not quite a tween, we enjoyed the interactive play that Lenovo Game State offered. He found it intuitive, easy to play, interesting and, given the fact that I had to drag him away, it definitely has my vote for being an engaging game. I am all for fun games that foster and strengthen STEAM skills.
