If there is one thing my little guy loves, it's dinosaurs. Like most kiddos his age, he's fascinated by those great prehistoric creatures. He's even been asking to go the museum lately. And that suits this mama just fine. I've always enjoyed wandering through those spacious spaces, marveling at times gone by. So, obviously, I'm super excited that The American Museum of Natural History has come together with J. Crew to release a new line of t-shirts, J. Crew for AMNH, filled with inspiration from iconic spots in the Museum like the Morgan Memorial Hall of Gems and Minerals, the Hall of Saurischian Dinosaurs, the Rose Center for Earth and Space, and the Akeley Hall of African Mammals.
This fun line, for both boys and girls, features loads of scientific details like the number of teeth in a T. Rex skull. The designers were granted access to the Museum and its archives and their accurate representation of history is evident in the uber cool tees. I'm sure it's not hard for you to guess which one my little dude chose right? The dino skull of course! Haha! It's all dinosaurs, all the time around here these days. Frankly, I kinda wish they came in my size. Just sayin'.
I've decided that an NYC family getaway is in order. While we have museums we frequent here in the Tampa Bay area, there's nothing quite like The American Museum of Natural History. Am I right? And ever since my kiddo saw Night at the Museum, he's felt the same way. Haha! He's been dying to go visit "Rexy." His new J. Crew for AMNH dinosaur t-shirt has him even more pumped about seeing his favorite dinosaurs up close and personal. I'm all for anything that gets him this excited about learning! AND proceeds from the sale of J.Crew for AMNH graphic tees will help support the Museum in their scientific and educational endeavors. So, that's just another wonderful reason to deck your kiddo out in one!
