The NY Aquarium was devastated after Hurricane Sandy. This has been a long road to recovery, but the staff has worked continuously to maintain animal health and comfort. As they rebuild, they will be creating a plan to mitigate future flood damage and moving forward with a plan that includes the construction of the Ocean Wonders: Sharks! building, with exciting new exhibits and fascinating marine life.

And when its doors reopen, it will be because of the unprecedented support from government and thousands of individuals just like you – all of whom own a piece of this recovery story.
