Gear Girl: We Heart Love

Hi - Kate Bayless here. I am beyond thrilled to be back here at MomTrends as Gear Girl (queuesuperhero theme song). Here to take on double stroller assembly with one hand, ready to leap onto a kid scootie in a single bound, and of course, to bring you all the latest news and reviews on gear that is stylish, smart and fit to own. Cheers! || KB

With Valentine's Day tomorrow, we've had love - and hearts - on our minds. While heart-themed gear and apparel may be especially apropos this month, we love its heart-felt appearance any time of the year.

For the room: From newborn to toddler, we are crushing on these heart-shaped additions to add a little love and decor to any room. The "Heart Me" cashmere blanket from J. Crew is definitely a splurge, but for less than $25, the wool felt heart garlands is festive and affordable.

For the closet: Boys get the short end of the stick when it comes to heart-adorned clothes, but girls have an endless supply of adorable options to choose from this V-day. The best news? They're all under $15!

To give: Looking to give a gift this Valentine's Day? Check the box "yes" if you love theseheart-themed presents. The popsicle maker may be a hard sell when there are 3 feet of snow outside, but if you follow it up with warm milk in the straw cup and coloring with heart-shaped crayons by the fire, it should all balance out.
