Do you know where your food comes from? For 2014, I want to be more aware of this, and one way to better understand this is with Fresh From the Farm. Created by Caren Sinclair-Kay, a mother of 3 and digital and e-commerce entrepreneur, Fresh From the Farm infuses her passion for nutritious, all natural, delicious food into her new company Fresh From the Farm 365, which makes local farm fresh food accessible to consumers in Northern NJ. Five months after launch, she is kicking off a crowd funding campaign through indiegogo to enable her to share local goodness with more people, expanding service to the entire Tri-State area.
“Just walk down the aisles of your supermarket and check out the food labels. It’s too easy to find unhealthy foods,“ said Sinclair-Kay. “I want to offer more people an alternative. I want to make it easy and convenient for more people to make nutritious choices and live a healthy lifestyle.”
Through Fresh from the Farm 365 you can discover offers just-picked fruits and vegetables; meat, poultry and dairy from animals raised without hormones or antibiotics; and an array of baked goods and specialty items produced by local artisans using the very same ingredients Fresh from the Farm 365 sells. Customer's can subscribe to one or more of the weekly delivery plans -- Everyday Essentials, Simply Specialty, Positively Produce and Decidedly Dairy.
