I have a large and in charge kicks collection...If I'm not rockin' my flip flops, I'm usually in some form of sneaker, whether it's my new favorite, slip on sneakers, or a pair of chucks...I love my sneaks! And I've passed that love on to my kiddos. They're Florida born, so sandals are a favorite, but, more often than not, they turn to their sneakers collection too. Like most kids, they're all about comfort. And mama is too...I want my kids to be able to race around and play in good quality, supportive shoes!

The velcro route is great for babies and toddlers. My daughter is only two, but she can put her velcro sneakers on herself! Then there are slip on sneakers...I love the ease of those for myself and the same goes for dressing my kids...And you really can't go wrong with classic lace up sneakers like Converse or Keds. They're great teaching tools for learning how to tie laces.
