Cheerful Winter Wear for Dreary Days

Now that January is upon us and we have at least a few more months full of potential icky days ahead of us, it's important not to let the less than ideal weather get us down. Fresh powder is charming, but slush and sleet? Not so much. My favorite little trick for picking myself up on dreary days is dressing for the mood I want to be in. And that same idea applies when it comes time to get my kids ready too. How can they be cranky if they're rockin' fun vibrant hues? And it's even better when it's their favorite color.

So, when I saw a pink Fisherman's Raincoat from JoJo Maman Bébé, I knew she had to have it. And not only is this rain coat a gorgeous color, but it's lined, so it keeps her toasty warm too. What better way to get her excited about heading out into wet weather? By the way, if you're loving this look as much as I am, you're going to want to check out the big JoJo Maman Bébé Winter Sale now through the end of January. Top styles are 50% off right!

We've hit the winter lull--that lengthy stretch of season with no plans, no parties, nothing to do, and nowhere to go. I have to admit that at first, I welcomed the quiet obligation-free weekends of January. After the nonstop hustle-bustle pace of November and December, my family more

And no winter wear look is complete without boots. In her case, darn cute boots. While pink is baby girl's happy color, cobalt is her mama's. And I do believe she's coming to love it as much as I do. She hasn't wanted to take off her cobalt Livie & Luca Barnum Boots for days. Haha! We took them for a test drive over the holidays on a cold rainy day and my little angel was nothing but happy. Happy child equals happy mom. Am I right?
