Back-to-(Nursery)-School Fashion From TJ Maxx

I cannot wait for my three year old to go back to nursery school. Don't get me wrong, I've loved every minute (okay, every other minute) of our quality fun-in-the-sun time together this loooooong summer vacation, but that beautiful boy of mine needs structure back in his life, like, ASAP. (Routine is our friend!)

And he's super excited to return to school too. Besides our trips to the playground, the G-Man, as I lovingly refer to him, doesn't get to see kids his age too often. So he's very much looking forward to being reunited with his little friends... Not to mention playing with new-classroom toys, meeting his "3's program" teacher, doing fun projects, having yummy snacks, and reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. (Seriously, one kid gets the honor of holding the flag each day... It's literally the cutest thing ever. What I wouldn't give to be a fly on the wall!)

We still have about a month before class is back in session (for just three short hours, three days a week!), but we're already trying to get prepared. We've been doing some back-to-school shopping for playground-ready clothes these past few weeks (he's grown this summer!), and we're happy to share one of our favorite finds from TJ Maxx.

How adorable is this button-down? It's the perfect cross between preppy-cute and lumberjack-cool! We like to layer--because the weather can be unpredictable in mid-to-late September—so G will wear this shirt over a plain white tee. We've styled it with an adorable pair of skinny gray sweats. We're currently going through a "no-jeans" phase (he says they're "too tight!"), so sweatpants are his jam... Can't say that I blame the kid!

Finally, those insanely awesome Stride Rite Made 2 Play Kaleb sneakers complete his comfortable, stylish nursery-school-ready look. I think he's ready for to rock the "three's" classroom.

Of course, Baby Sister will be joining us at drop-off on the first day of school, so she needs an adorbs outfit as well. This pretty-in-pink polo dress (with matching bloomers!) from TJ Maxx makes for the perfect ensemble. (I'm sure you can guess the brand both of my babes are modeling so prep-tastically!)

Skip the Crowds and Take Your Family Skiing in Waterville Valley
