Resolve to eat better. Resolve to try something new and for 2012 resolve to have stellar wall designs at home. Momtrends recently learned some of the top Wall Trends for 2012 from Jen Bertrand, winner of HGTV Design Star, host of Paint Over!.

According to Jen, 2012 will be all about wallpaper and wall coverings as well as wall designs that are easy (think art that sticks). Here are some more of her top wall trends for 2012.

Designs That Stick: Innovations like peel and stick wallpapers will be big! They can be expertly applied in almost no time at all. You can paper a room, accent wall or hallway in a fraction of the time and at a fraction of the cost of traditional wallpaper. You don't have to be a designer or art expert either. Check out leaders such as Murals Your Way, for inspiration.

Hand Crafted Papers and Stencils:Etsy has had a massive influence on consumer tastes and the handmade trend will continue to grow in 2012 - from a wider variety in textured quality handmade papers to hand painted stencils and designs.

Wallpaper Goes 3D: Wall coverings are literally jumping off the wall. Designers and decor savvy homeowners are paring bold wall-scape visuals and found items to create three-dimensional designs.

Artsy Art: If you don't want to buy a print "as-is" but you can't afford original artwork, where do you go?
