Most of the Momtrends community knows that I love running. As a means to stay fit, it can't be beat for convenience or price. The mental health aspect is also HUGE. Each mile on the road melts away the tantrums, client issues and stress of modern motherhood. One thing I haven't tackled when I talk about running is giving back. Did you know you can have an impact on cancer! Join Team in Training (TNT) and run the Nike Women’s Half Marathon (NWHM) in San Francisco on October 19. You’ll be helping The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) fund research to advance lifesaving blood cancer treatments.
Many new runners get frustrated by poor training plans, boredom and lack of motivation. Signing up with Team in Training cures all of that: They provide comprehensive training programs to keep you healthy and on track for your big race. With TNT, in exchange for raising funds, you’ll train for four months with world-class trainers, have access to clinics on nutrition and injury prevention and race through San Francisco’s iconic landmarks.
