Bumps, bruises and scars happen. But lucky we recently discovered some relief with ScarAway, a silicone scar sheet that provides treatment to reduce and prevent hypertrophic (raised) scars and keloid scars that may result from surgery, injuries or burns.
How it works is you simply place them on your scars such as those from a surgery, burn, C-section, acne, or simple scrape where its advanced patented silicone technology works to soften, shrink, flatten and fade scars. This includes a scar sheet that is ultra thing, flexible and breathable with a soft fabric that "conceals as it heals."
This is a great option for families since ScarAway is an affordable way for relief as it safety treats. Also, each sheet is reusable and washable - lasting about one week. They are also doctor recommended and they should be used for a minimum of 12 and up to 24 hours per day for results.
More about ScarAway:
- ScarAway can be used on both old and new scars. With new scars, they can be used as soon as the skin is healed and there is no oozing or crusting in the area. With old scars, they can be used any time assuming the skin has healed
- When used as directed, ScarAway may be used on any part of the body. In more active areas or around joints, medical tape or a cohesive wrap may be required to aid in adhering to the skin. This will not impact the silicones effectiveness.
- Scar Sheets may be cut in half for smaller scars or worn side-by-side for larger scars. Scar Sheets should extend beyond the scarred area on all sides by at least ¼ of an inch. For hard to treat or exposed areas, use the new ScarAway Scar Diminishing Serum.
- Each scar sheet is washable and durable for 7 days of use; remove while exercising or bathing and keep in ScarAway storage case that comes with kit.
