Best New Everyday Stroller: Nuna TAVO
Some strollers may have their specialties - like being super compact for traveling or designed perfectly for your daily runs, but our favorite everyday stroller is just that - the stroller we pull out day after day for the rest of daily life. Our latest fav? The Nuna TAVO. With a one-handed recline and a seat that lays nearly flat, the TAVO works for newborns up to kids 50 lbs. The TAVO also converts seamlessly into a travel system with the Nuna PIPA car seat that clicks directly onto the bumper bar - no additional adapter needed. We love the smooth maneuvering, large, easy-access basket (the edge folds down so you can access it even with the seat fully reclined!) and the large canopy that has an added zip-out "dream drape" extension that covers nearly to the bumper bar. Plus the stroller has a simple one-handed fold and an auto-locking frame so you won't have to wrestle the stroller to get it closed. It doesn't hurt that the stroller is pretty stylish too! Best New Jogger/All-Terrain Stroller: BOB 2016 Revolution Pro
BOB's jogging strollers have topped our lists in the past, but the new 2016 Revolution Pro has made us swoon even more. New updates include an increased seat weight capacity (up to 75 lbs.), a more upright seat for kid comfort along with an easier one-handed seat recline, and a 25% larger underseat basket. What hasn't changed? An incredible turning radius and maneuverability, adjustable suspension, a 9-position handlebar, and a swivel/locked front wheel with a fine-tune adjustment knob to ensure your stroller doesn't pull to the left. Whether you are a regular runner, just want to look like one, or are looking for a rugged all-terrain stroller that can do dirt trails, tight store aisles and crowded farmer's market maneuvering all in the same day, you won't be disappointed in the 2016 Revolution Pro. (Trying to decide between the PRO and the FLEX? The PRO has a hand-activated rear drum brake for added controls on hills.) Also available as a double jogger.BUY: Amazon
Best New Travel System: 2016 Britax B-Agile 3 Stroller/B-Safe 35 Infant Car Seat
We've been fans of this Britax travel system for a while, but now the company has made the B-Agile stroller even better with some key updates for 2016. The latest stroller model includes a more upright seat, updated wheels, a larger, easier to access underseat basket, and a new design for the footrest. What hasn't changed is the easy maneuvering, one-handed fold, and all-wheel suspension for a smooth ride. The updated version is slightly heavier - 18 lbs. vs 16.5 lbs on the previous model - but you likely won't notice the difference. Paired with the B-Safe 35 car seat (now also available in Cyan and Steel) or the B-Safe 35 Elite car seat (more expensive, but offers an extra layer of side impact protection and a quick-adjust head protection), your newborn will be safe, secure and ready to explore. Best New Compact Travel Stroller: GB Pockit
Whether you are a frequent traveler or are just short on space, you'll love the amazing GB Pockit which calls itself the "most compact stroller in the world". And this is more than just a lofty claim - the Pockit has actually earned the designation as the world's smallest folded stroller according to the Guinness Book of World Records™! We agree! The fold is so compact that the Pockit gets small enough to stash in a tote bag or under an airplane seat - the folded dimensions are just 12" x 7" x 14". While the unique fold is obviously a major selling point, the stroller itself isn't half bad. The stroller is suitable for babes 6 months up to 55 lbs., has a sunshade and adjustable 5-pt harness, and an underseat storage basket. Not a lot of bells and whistles, but ideal for travel. Your summer vacation packing just got a whole lot simpler, smaller, and lighter. BUY: Amazon
Best New Double Stroller: UPPAbaby G-Link Umbrella Double Stroller
We've been big fans of the Vista and Cruz from UPPAbaby and now the brand has released their first ever double stroller - the G-Link. A side-by-side version of Uppababy’s G-Luxe stroller, the G-Link has lots of love. With a flat recline and a detachable mesh foot barrier, the stroller is suitable for babies up to kids 50 lbs. (per seat), it has an easy one-handed recline with four positions, and decent sized canopy with a view window and extendable sunshade for even more coverage. Parents will love that the closing mechanism is at hand-level (no feet or bending down!), the stroller stands when folded, and that the stroller has an included cup holder which can attach on the middle of the frame to avoid getting clipped by a door frame and dual storage pockets on the canopy backs to keep important necessities within reach. Most Versatile Seating Options: Graco Modes Duo
Twenty seven. Yes, you read that right. That's how many seating options the Graco Modes Duo stroller offers to carry your kids. That includes six modes for infants (including one or two infants, facing in, out, or opposite), eight modes for carrying an infant and a toddler, five modes for carrying one or two toddlers, AND eight seating options using either the bench seat or the standing pad. The stroller is pretty heavy (47 lbs!), but we love the seat versatility, included cupholders for parent and child, and the large basket - though the accessibility depends on the seating arrangement. This stroller is a great option for families of twins (two Graco carseats can click in easily), kids of different ages, or families that want one stroller that can grow with them. BUY: Babies R Us
Our favorite luxury stroller has two new updated versions to choose from - the 2015-2016 Bugaboo Cameleon 3 and the special edition Cameleon 3 Classic+ (shown above). The updated Cameleon 3 now includes the new Comfort Harness which is easier to use and offers more adjustment options for creating the perfect fit for your child, as well as a minor seat fabric upgrade so that the fabric now covers metal pins on the frame that are used for attaching a rain cover. The special edition Cameleon 3 Classic+ has a modern faux leather handle for the stroller and the included carrycot as well as off-white, micro-fleece quilted lining to give the stroller a perfect blend of a classic pram look with lots of modern touches. While the Cameleon 3 will certainly turn heads, we love that this stroller is more than just a pretty face - the stroller boasts easy maneuvering, a reversible seat and handlebar, and adjustable suspension to handle a variety of terrains with ease. To be clear, this stroller is not for everyone. The Cameleon 3 is definitely a statement piece for people who want their stroller to get noticed - and don't mind spending a small fortune on baby gear - but you are getting a high-quality stroller with lots of attention to construction and detail. Best Stroller for Baby and Toddler: Joovy Caboose Graphite
Joovy calls the Caboose a "stand-on tandem stroller" - we call it genius. This stroller has the space for two kids of different ages without the length and bulk of a traditional double stroller. The main seat can fit one child from birth with the included universal car seat adapter while the back offers both a standing platform and a rear-facing seat for a child up to 45 pounds. This solves the inevitable problem of your toddler wanting to walk on his own. And then ride. And then walk. And then ride. This updated version includes a new modern look with its graphite steel frame, all-wheel suspension and a third recline position for the main seat. You can also opt to add on a second seat for twin toddlers or choose the Caboose Ultralight Stroller which is more expensive, but 21% lighter and comes with a parent organizer and larger canopy. Best New Designer Collaboration: Quinny/Maxi-Cosi Rachel Zoe X Collection
Fans of The Rachel Zoe Project rejoice! Zoe is lending her style smarts to a new collaboration with Quinny and Maxi-Cosi. Due out summer 2016, the Rachel Zoe X Collection includes the Quinny Moodd stroller as well as the Maxi-Cosi Mico Max 30 and Pria 85 car seats. The collection will initially be available in Jet Set, a palate of classic black and white with accents of cognac leather and gold, with additional styles to come. Coordinating your own outfit to your stroller is optional, but highly recommended. BUY:Nordstrom
Best New Stroller Innovation: Austlen Baby Co. Entourage
I've been writing about strollers for almost a decade now and it seems rare that companies truly come up with something really unique and different. But Austlen Baby Co's Entourage may have done it. Austen's understood that getting out with kids requires stuff - and that strollers often offer only mediocre storage options. That's why the frame on their Entourage expands to three different positions to dramatically increase the child and cargo room options. This allows parents to choose from over 30 different configurations including single or dual carseat modes, single or dual seats, and the option - and space! - to carry up 150 combined pounds of kids and gear. You can fit your child AND an ice chest on this stroller! Trips to the beach and adventures at the amusement park just got a whole lot easier. No wonder it won the 2015 Innovation Award by the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association (JPMA) at the 2015 ABC Kids Expo. BUY: The Entourage isn't out yet, but sign up here for an email alert when it's available in your area.
