Skip Hop is a powerhouse and one of our all-time favorites brands. From diaper bags to bedding to school necessities, Skip Hop has a fantastic range of products geared towards making the lives of families with young kids easier. They strive to make "unique, innovative and highly functional products that make parenting easier, better and more fun." And we couldn't be more happy that they continue to expand their product line. One of the newest additions to the toy collection is Explore & More Toys for babies and toddlers.

Skip Hop provided Max with a few of the Explore & More toys. While they are all marketed and designed for younger babies, Max has been a great tester. Bonus toddler review feature: if a toy survives a week of play with my 2.5 year old, it will survive anything. Much to my surprise, Max's favorite is the Musical Owl Phone. As the child of iPhone-aholics who could probably navigate his way around a tablet blindfolded, I am pleasantly surprised by how much he engages with and genuinely enjoys the phone.

The buttons make different noises including a hoot and musical melody. His wings even light up! Frankly, I don't care what it does as long as it causes this face.

The Hedgehog Accordion is another favorite of Max's - and my older kids! I admit I've had to put this toy in time out because they just.keep.playing.it. Yes, that's the point of a toy, but we live in a small base house and, well, noise. I don't blame them all for loving it, though. It's pretty fun.

Like the Owl Phone, I thought Max might be a bit too old for the adorable Click Clack Hedgehog. But the bright colors and cool motions keep him engaged and playing. The body of the hedgehog turns to reveal a mirror and Max seems delighted every time he spies himself again. For the younger crowd, this also has soft teeters and a rattling belly.

Finally, Max has been checking out Banana Buddies. Available in four different animals, this toy is the quintessential stroller toy. With rattles, crinkles and teethers, it has a variety of sensory activities to keep infants and young toddlers playing. It has the youngest age recommendation of the group, and is suitable for babies from 3 months.
