The potty training days--ugh! Whether you are at home, running errands or traveling, the constant worry about getting to a toilet is over. My Carry Potty (Amazon $29.95) is here to help with the challenges of potty training.
Invented by a mom (of course), My Carry Potty is a compact, one piece, portable plastic potty designed with an easy carry handle and an ingenious rubber seal and clip shut lid that encloses the odor and contents. The lid closes so tightly that I recommend an adult perform the function to avoid little fingers getting snapped. Check out this youtube video to see the seat in action.
When we received the potty, my two year old son was immediately delighted - maybe the bright yellow color appealed to him? He carried it like the newest Prada handbag and excitedly proclaimed it to be his travel potty seat.

Since owning the potty, 2 days now, he has successfully used it for both "occasions" and is very proud of himself for doing so. I love that I now have a toddler-approved solution to potty training on-the-go. I am sure it will be useful on long road trips for my 5 year old daughter too. Most importantly, it fits under my stroller for those unexpected moments in NYC when you can't find a toilet. Can you make one for adults too?
