Get ready to play ball. This weekend Citibank is taking time away from the money biz to host a private Kids Day at Citi Field on. Three hundred children from Boys and Girls Clubs of America and local YMCAs in the five boroughs have been invited.
To create a "game day" atmosphere, activities will include autograph signings, photos with Mr. Met and private tours of Citi Field. The Radio Disney AM 1560 New York Road Crew will also be on hand to entertain kids with music, games, arts and crafts and special prizes. More than 50 Citi volunteers are also expected to attend.
How your kids can participate--if they weren't invited to the big ballpark they can still head to Citibank branches in the five boroughs for baseball themed activities on March 20, including kids' games, food, face painting, balloons, clowns and characters. Former Met Ed Kranepool will visit the Park Slope Citibank branch from 12:00-1:30pm to sign autographs. Baseball themed refreshments will include hot dogs and cracker jacks.
