We recently had our annual holiday event and while there I had the most delicious cocktail...Well, it's not really so much a cocktail as sparkling wine served with the BEST garnish ever...POMS POMS, which are essentially fresh pomegranate arils. You know those juicy little seedlike goodies we all try to dig out of pomegranates? Well, POM Wonderful did all the hard work for us. You can literally buy a container of them.
Ever since I sipped on that bubbly goodness bursting with fruity flavor at our event, I've been thinking about it. It really is the easiest drink to recreate, so I tried my hand at it this weekend. I'm about to embark on an epic holiday shopping trip and seeing as someone else will be driving me around (thanks sis) I decided that a pre shopping "cocktail" was in order.
